BAZAAR AND CRAFT SHOW Beta Lambda will have a bazaar and craft show Saturday, Dec. 9, at Inglewood Mall.

BENEFIT BROADCAST There will be a live broadcast from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, from Mt. Zion Baptist Church on KMRC radio station. The title of the program will be "Is there any hope for tomorrow." The boradcast is a benefit for the Mission for Christ.

The Rev. Earl Rooks is the pastor of the church. BUFFET AND BAZAAR The United Methodist Women of Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church will have their annual buffet and bazaar from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE CLINIC The Tri-Cities Substance Abuse Clinic, offering help in dealing with alcohol and drug problems, is located at 529 Southeast Blvd. in Bayou Vista. POT LUCK SUPPER There will be pot luck tamale and enchilada supper at 6:30 p.m. prior to the popular numbers game Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Bayou Country Moose Lodge. Members and guests are invited to attend. HALLOWEEN COSTUME DANCE There will be a Halloween costume dance at 8 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 27, at the Bayou Country Moose Lodge. Trophies will be awarded for costumes. This will be $5 per couple BYOB for members and guests. Door prizes will be given away.

The Long Sound System will be playing. CHILDREN'S HALLOWEEN PARTY There will be a children's Halloween party at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Bayou Country Moose Lodge. This will be free for members and guests.

Prizes will be given to the best boys and girls costume. KARATE AND SELF-DEFENSE CLASS Physical fitness, karate and self-defense classes, sponsored by the SBBA of Morgan City, will be offered from p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday at the Berwick Elementary School. MCHS CLASS OF 1969 Interested members of the Morgan City High School Class of 1969 are urged to meet at the school's homecoming game Oct. 27, for a 10-year homecoming reunion. Following the game the class will go to T-John's. This is an informal get-together. There will be a formal meeting to discuss the class reunion on a later date.

FOOD BANK The Social Action Committee of the Holy Cross Parish Council is forming a Food Bank to provide for the emergency needs of the parishioners. Parishioners are asked to donate canned food in the boxes provided at the doors of the church. This food will be stored and distributed as needed. HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL The St. Bernadette Ladies Altar Society will sponsor a Halloween carnival at St.

Bernadette Church Hall from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 31. There will be costume judging for prettiest and ugliest outfits, games, food, contests and a cake walk. Spiderman will also make a special appearance.

TRANSPORTATION FOR SENIOR CITIZENS The St. Mary Community Action group is offering transportation, on a limited basis, to eligible senior citizens. until 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28 and 29. There will be food, games, a haunted house, a costume contest, attic treasure booth and a ping pong rally. BAPTIST HOMECOMING The First Baptist Church in Berwick, located on Boudreaux Street, will have homecoming activities Sunday, Oct.

29. There will be a covered dish luncheon on the church grounds following the 10:30 a.m worship service. There will be guest speakers and other activities. The evening worship service has been cancelled. HALLOWEEN CARVINAL There will be a Halloween carnival from 4-8 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 30, at Bayou Vista Elementary School. All parents are urged to attend. MEN'S DAY PROGRAM The Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson will have its annual men's day program at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct.
