Fancy Pants Chicken Casserole Recipe
Fancy Pants chicken casserole recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. Cooks will appreciate making a large meal that the whole family will enjoy. Plus, I’ve included a bonus recipe: Lipton’s Garlic & Herb Seasoning Mix!
I have no idea where I got this recipe, but I’ve had it for years now. It’s quick, easy, and delicious. Which is basically all the things I like in a recipe because I am a super lazy cook. The best part is that you feel fancy while eating. Just kidding, you won’t.
Fancy Pants Chicken
Ingredients:
2packages of THIN chicken breasts
Prosciutto slices
Half bag of fresh spinach
8 oz package of fresh sliced mushrooms
1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secret’s Savory Herb and Garlic
1/2 C White Wine
1/4 C Olive oil
8oz shredded mozzarella
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375
Spray a 13/9″ pan with cooking spray
Put 2 layers of chicken in pan, cover with prosciutto, and top with spinach, sprinkle with a little kosher salt and coarse black pepper.
Top with mushrooms.
Whisk together olive oil, wine, and savory herb envelope and pour over everything.
Lay a piece of foil over (not tight) bake for 30 minutes
Top with cheese and bake for 5 minutes more.
Yield: 5

1 tablespoon marjoram
1 tablespoonoregano

1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon thyme
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoongarlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Mix together and use about 2 ounces for Fancy Pants Chicken.
I know another casserole recipe that is even easier than this one, it’s Tater Tot Casserole. In addition to it being super easy to make, your kids will eat it because it’s covered in tater tots! Go figure.

How ever many you want to use. I typically do 4-6 depending on their size.
