Raise your hand if you love your slow cooker! As someone who makes more of her family’s food from scratch, there is nothing better than dumping a bunch of ingredients in a pot, hitting a button and then walking away.

A couple of hours later the fragrant smell of dinner will fill my house and dinner will be done with only a few minutes of thought on my part.

For anyone who is on or just starting the diet, you know that AIP is the most hardcore of all the diet.

Forget about eating out. It’s impossible.

When you take into account all of the foods you can not eat – dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, nightshades, grains, and gluten – there is no way you can guarantee your food was not cross contaminated at a restaurant.

So that means more time in the kitchen cooking and well, using your slow cooker is almost as good as a personal chef (almost).
